In Metepec, 'La Diabla', From La Linea, Arrested For The Murder of Her Partner

After the murder, the woman apparently fled and her family reported her missing; however, she was in the state of Nuevo León.

Dayana “N”, alias La Diabla, an alleged member of a criminal cell aligned to the Jalisco New Generation Cartel with operations in the Toluca Valley, was arrested in Metepec, due to her probable relationship with the death of her ex-partner, for which she apparently pretended to be missing in order to evade justice.

According to the Attorney General’s Office of the State of Mexico (FGJEM), on April 13, 2022, the victim was in the company of Dayana “N” and other individuals on a property in the community of San Cristóbal Huichochitlán in Toluca.

At one point the victim was subdued, beaten and suffocated with a cable, which caused his death.

To dispose of the body, they placed it in a drum with cement and abandoned it in a building on Solidaridad Street, in the San Pablo Autopan delegation, where it was found days later.

After these events, the woman apparently fled and her family reported her as missing. However, she was in the state of Nuevo León.

Despite having fled, authorities determined that she traveled sporadically to the State of Mexico. An operation was implemented for her arrest in Metepec, with the participation of municipal police and the FGJEM.

The woman was taken to the Santiaguito Prison and Social Reinsertion Center, in Almoloya de Juárez, where she awaits the resolution of her legal situation.

It is worth mentioning that the other people who allegedly participated in these events have already been detained and are under investigation.

The Prosecutor’s Office added that the criminal cell for which this woman allegedly worked is called “La Línea”, which is directly related to the organization with its origins in Jalisco.

This group was apparently led by Edgar “N”, alias Minimi, Chaparro and/or Rebelde, who was arrested in March of this year.

This group was identified as one of the main masterminds of violence in Toluca and its surroundings, and that its criminal activities were based on drug sales, kidnapping and human trafficking.

In addition, this criminal cell was allegedly responsible for several homicides, such as the case of five bodies buried clandestinely in buildings in San Cristóbal Huichochitlán found in September 2022.
