Where Do We Live? Location is an Index of Character in the Bible and for Safety in End-Times

In the beginning, God put Adam and Eve in a garden. But they chose to please themselves and a change of location resulted in sweat, toil and pain.

Mankind became so perverted and rebellious that God sent a Flood, but He provided an ark of safety for the obedient. After the Flood, some didn’t trust God and built the Tower of Babel. God again acted in favor of re-location as their tongues were confused and they scattered to populate the earth.

Later God covenanted with Abraham to give him the Middle East, “from the river of Egypt to the river Eurphrates,” Genesis 15:18. When Moses took Israel there, he said, If you don’t keep the covenant (the book of Deuteronomy), the land will spew you out. Re-location in Deuteronomy 28.

History proves God right, but also that He would bring them back, Deuteronomy 30:4 (relocation for the end-times?) This is supported by Jeremiah 31:1, “At the same time” refers to the previous phrase, latter days, and this is when God is going to gather His people, Israel and Judah for the New Covenant Promise (Jeremiah 31:8,10,16,17,31) to put His law in our hearts. Without this, we wouldn’t be ready to go to heaven.

Even though God delivered Israel from bondage in Egypt and opened the Red Sea for them, they were afraid of the giants in the Promised Land. They voted against re-location and died in the wilderness!

Today that land of the covenant has giant problems, but is anything too hard for God? Our final exams will test whether we have learned to trust God to do what He says. This is what the wedding parables are about, though poorly understood.

When Israel covenanted with God to keep His laws, He later said, “I am married to you,” Jeremiah 3:14. Paul includes that history of the Exodus to say, “ALL those things happened to them for examples…[for us] ends of the world.” 1Corinthians 10:1,11.

The last lukewarm church (representing western Christianity?) says it is “rich with goods and in need of nothing,” Revelation 3:17. But suddenly an earthquake removed everything they had, circa 63 AD.

The economic, oolitical and religious base or ground of America is trembling, fragmenting and about to fall apart. The Bible suggests an earthquake will initiate the end-times (Joel 2:10,11) and the physical earthquake will only manifest what the condition of socieity is anyway—broken. Tthose who trust in their possessions will be on the short end.

The True Witness to the last, lukewarm church tells the pastor [aggelos means messenger to the church] that he is blind and naked. Blind means he can’t see what’s coming, and naked means his loins are not girded with truth, Ephesians 6:14. Too many prosperity preachers and talke of ‘Peace and safety’ when sudden destruction is coming as Paul said, 1Thessalonians 5:1-6.

God can remove America’s prosperity as easily as in Egypt when He relocated His people to the land of the covenant. Paul reminds us, “If you are Christ’s, you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise [of land].” Galatians 3:29.

When the New World Order is set up, our safety will be in harmony with Scripture. If we are not willing to go to the land of the covenant, maybe we aren’t really Abraham’s seed; we don’t have the faith that Abraham had, that God can do what He says He will do.

But the New World Order will mean false worship by the compelling force of government (Revelation 13:14-17) and if we are really citizens of God’s kingdom, we must renounce citizenship here and be willing for relocation, or we will face the plagues promised compliance in Revelation 14:9,10.
