Die soziale Not auf der Urlaubsinsel steigt rasant. Aufgrund der verschärften Corona-Maßnahmen geht nix mehr: Cafés, Restaurants, Bars, Fitnesscenter, alles geschlossen; Maskenpflicht überall im öffentlichen Raum, dazu ein Schweigegebot in Bus und Bahn. Die Nachfrage nach Hilfsleistungen war nie so groß. Längst sind nicht nur Obdachlose und Rentner vom Lockdown hart getroffen. Auch Familien der Mittelschicht wissen nicht mehr, wie es weitergehen soll. Tausende Gastwirte protestieren, Diebstähle nehmen zu, ebenso wie Haus-und Wohnungsbesetzungen. Die Infektionszahlen steigen seit Mitte Dezember, eine Besserung ist nicht in Sicht.
