Feathers of Birds Everywhere I Walked Along the Beach, East Coast Fl. (PICS)

East Coast, Ormond Beach Florida Late Dec. 2010

I went down to the beach in Ormond last week before Christmas and this is what I saw a lot of…..

With each few steps finding more and more feathers of seabirds.

When did all these birds die ?

Will the feathers continue to wash ashore ?

There are birds returning to the beaches, Will they die too ?

I think it will be impossible to know the numbers of birds that have died.

Equally is the numbers that will continue to die,

As the numbers continue to date with deaths being reported.

Birds where used in Coal mines for they would die from gas, giving miners time to react.

But with so may chemicals in the air, water and soil these days….

Perhaps we should be much more observant in the future days and really take note !
