Beachgoers taking a closer look at the carcass of a baby whale Kuala Belait – The carcass of a baby whale was found off the coast of Kuala Belait beach yesterday afternoon.

From observation, the front of the whale was bleeding and witnesses commented that the whale may have been injured or killed before it was swept to the shore.

Haji Rusli bin Haji Matyasin, a retired medical personnel, was among the witnesses who stumbled upon the dead whale.

At first, he thought it was a dolphin but upon close inspection, realised the missing dorsal fin and concluded that it was a whale.

The story of the dead mammal spread throughout the district, and people were seen flocking to the beach to catch of glimpse of the dead baby whale. — Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin..Continue…brudirect.com
