Former U.S. Navy SEAL, (and Unite In Action Director), Benjamin Smith releases an open letter to the President – calling Obama on the carpet once and for all. Former U.S. Navy SEAL, (and Unite In Action Director), Benjamin Smith releases TELL OBAMA – STOP USING THE SEALS AS A CAMPAIGN PLOY!
President Barack Hussein Obama, STOP using the Navy SEALS as a campaign ploy, because with all due respect, (what little I have for you), you do NOT speak for me.
We SEALs do not even seek the credit that you claim for yourself. We do the tough jobs that no-one else can, it is hard to do and we never look for any accolades; that is why we, like all the other Special Operations Forces are termed “SILENT Professionals.” And it is certainly NOT in our job description to help your campaign and improve your polling numbers. Your LACK of silence regarding the killing of Osama Bin Laden is all a sham designed to hide a weak un-American man desperate to claim the victories of others for his own re-election. You Sir are trying to take the credit for what the American People have achieved in killing Bin Laden. Your use of the SEALs’ accomplishment as part of a slanderous campaign ad is nothing less than despicable. I, as a former Navy SEAL do not accept your taking credit for Osama Bin Laden’s death. The American Military accomplished that feat. The American People killed Osama Bin Laden, NOT YOU, President Obama. TELL OBAMA – STOP USING THE SEALS AS A CAMPAIGN PLOY! Memos from then CIA Director Leon Panetta show that it was not you but rather three star Admiral and former Navy SEAL William McRaven who made the decision to get Bin Laden. But now that it is useful, you Mr. President continue to refer to the event as if it were YOU and you alone – your great leadership – which accomplished the worthy task of slaying one of America’s greatest enemies. When you addressed the country your language revealed your egotism – “I directed”, “I Continued”, “MY Intelligence Community”, “MY national security team”, “I determined that I had enough….”, “My direction….” I, I, I, my, my, my – words of a narcissist laying claim to a prize that is not his own.
To make matters worse, Retired General Jack Keene recently informed the world that you knew of Osama Bin Laden’s location since 2010, yet you did nothing. Other reliable sources continue to report that not only did you attempt to stop or delay Bin Laden’s demise, you did not even leave the golf course for the situation room until 20 minutes before SEAL Team 6 took out Osama Bin Laden. Even the clothes you wore in the situation room betray this fact. This is a Commander in Chief? A man who takes credit for actions largely taken while he was out golfing? TELL OBAMA – I STAND WITH THE U.S. NAVY SEALS! We men who have taken the military oath say ENOUGH. You do not speak for me, a former Navy SEAL, or any one of the league of men whom I have earned the right to be among. You are simply a man running for an office. Yet you behave as a glory hoarding ruler. You campaign to be our leader, yet in reality you wish to be our Master. The American people are the ones who got Bin Laden… You did not! We have fought wars and slugged it out with Vast Terror Organizations to get to the man you say YOU killed. The United States of American has won you a title sir and you have spent the last three years trying to beg, borrow and bow it all away. You just happened to be president of the USA when WE THE PEOPLE got Osama Bin Laden. We do not see you as heroic or stoic, we see you as the guy who let America Go – fat and weak. That is your credit – you bow to foreign leaders and pander to the press. You do not represent me as a Military Man. You do not represent me as a SEAL. You do not represent me as an AMERICAN! TELL OBAMA – STOP USING THE SEALS AS A CAMPAIGN PLOY! You do not speak for me or any American military man because though you may now be Commander in Chief, you are not the man to whom we can point our sons and say “This is the American dream, this is American Exceptionalism, this is what I wish for your future”, because you Sir are NONE of these things.
You Sir are the antithesis of American Exceptionalism. Your idols are Saul Alinski and Karl Marx and your revolutionary dreams and anti-American ideals poison your every policy. Your every action betrays the fact that in your soul you do not understand what it is to be an American, or even know what America truly is. Your agenda from the beginning as been to get rid of and kill everything that is and ever was American. You who so easily dismisses America’s greatness and bows to foreigners… YOU DO NOT SPEAK FOR ME. YOU DO NOT SPEAK FOR THE NAVY SEALS. YOU DO NOT SPEAK FOR THE MILITARY MAN AND you SHALL NOT claim as your prize that which you have not earned. The Navy SEALS are NOT a campaign slogan to be bantered about for play. Nor are our accomplishments, including the demise of Osama Bin Laden, yours to claim – especially as a narcissistic campaign ad. Go back from whence you came Sir, for not only do you not speak for me, you do not speak for AMERICA. TELL OBAMA – STOP USING THE SEALS AS A CAMPAIGN PLOY!

According to credible intelligence sources, OBL died in Dec of 2001. The raid on OBL last year was staged. Then two weeks later 21 Seals are killed in a helicopter crash. Will Obama say anything this week about the Seals who died to cover up this BS of killing OBL?
I doubt he will say anything about them as well as the coverup.
Its a little long winded and very repetitive, some need to make up their minds, one moment doubts over whether bin laden was killed years ago and the seal mission was a joke, but now applaud this man who makes the claim about the mission being for real, so what is it? was bin laden already dead, or was it a real mission? cant have it both ways.
The letter to me and IMO sounds like it was written by a kid about to leave high school, this needs looking into a little deeper before people begin to make themselves look like fools for falling for some kind of joke, you have an election coming up, and from past election battles we all know all the dirty tricks will be on the table, including making it look like the military are not willing to accept orders from POTUS.
Something smells here, and the more I read it the stronger the smell, all I ask for is care before accepting face value, I know literacy is not a strong requirement to be a Seal, read it a few times yourselves, don’t you think it looks like an off the top of the head rant , rather than a well thought through open letter to the President of the USA? I thought seals are taught patience and tactical thinking? something this letter is far from being.

It’s all lies. “The first casualty of war is the truth.” I remember the news reporting that bombing had killed Sadam Hussein’s son and grandchildren… In fact, it was just starting to become big news when the First Boy pulled the “We killed bin Laden.” ace out of his ass that he’d been keeping there to pull out in case of PR emergency. Again, It’s all lies. The entire Obama illegitimate presidency fiasco is a diversion from something else. What is it?
Fact of the matter is, nobody “killed” Osama Bin Laden. Been dead since 2001 but you get stateside news so you wouldn’t know.
Bin Laden died of Marfan Syndrome in the caves of Tora Bora in 2001. Unless the SEALs raided a mortuary to get his body it’s been “on ice” since then. No pictures of the rotting corpse? OOOOPS! That’s right! Oh! Forgot, we didn’t want to “offend” and Muslims by showing images of his shot up body. As for the SEALs that died in the crash of the CH-46. They were “expendible assets” to the Obama administration and had to be “silenced” to keep the “false flag” flying. I commend Benjamin Smith for his fortitude in telling that pi$$ poor excuse for a CIC just what’s what. Leon Panetta et al will face the music some day. I just hope to be around when the “tune” plays to see them disgraced.

Doesn’t anyone remember a huge banner being raised on an aircraft carrier claiming “Mission Accomplished”? Had it been worded “Conventional Phase Accomplished” it might have been better received.
Benjamin Smith’s service and oath to defend the Constution certainly entitles him to freedom of speech. But, when you have freedom of speech, once you open your mouth, you own it:
‘Your idols are Saul Alinski and Karl Marx and your revolutionary dreams and anti-American ideals poison your every policy.’
This is factually untrue and a ridiculous remark and similar to many demagogic nonsense hurled at this President before he took office.
And President Obama has never once, not one time, claimed that he killed Biin Laden, and you know that.
Frankly Mr. Smith, if you have a problem with a black man serving as President, have the guts to come out and say so. Don’t resort to this kind of baseless invective as your “call sign” to the like minded. If you actually do have a “policy disagreement” then take the time to spell out your own and explain why it is better. Ideas will stand, or fall, on their own merits, most of the time. That’s what the Consititution, and freedom of speech, are really for.
By the way, a falsehood, or a list of falshoods, is never a ‘rebuke’… get a dictionary, look it up (you have to look up ‘reproof’ also…. so be ready to do some work).
