Veteran Suicide Families Need HELP
Families of Veterans lost to suicide need help NOW! A Bill has been introduced to Congress on 13 Aug 2021 and has ZERO support since its introduction.
The Green STar Families Bill HR 5036 Will provide federal recognition and behavioral health services to families of Veterans lost to suicide. It will do this by recognizing a Green Star Service Banner, much like the Gold & Blue Star Service Banner do and provide Behavioral Health resources for these families to be able to heal from the trauma of their Veterans Suicide.
The families need and deserve this help. They suffered next to their Veteran and they are often times the ones who find the Veteran after the completion of the suicide. These families suffer as the politicians enact their daily soap opera on Capital Hill!
These families are the future of our all volunteer forces! Who will take their place when they are unable to heal propery from the trauma of losing their Veteran to suicide?
Please contact your COngressional Representative, urge them to support the Bill HR 5036 NOW!
