Our biggest issue as a country is the inefficiency of our federal governement. A third of our tax money effectively disappears before it even gets into being spent, government contracts are not managed like they should be and contractors take advantage of that over and over. I got out of the Army in 2013. I was on the M198 and the M777. What you are talking about are the fuses that screw into the nose cone of the round. We have many types of rounds and fuses. The standard round being a 95 pound round of HE (High Explosive). Now only for training. They switched to a 110 pound HE round. The rounds they have been sending to the Ukraine are the Excalibur rounds. Those are rocket propelled. The fuse is a different fuse than that of your standard HE round. The fuse does a lot for the round depending on the round. The standard round is designed as an air burst. Rains, steel on the enemy from roughly 50 feet over head. If the shrapnel doesn’t kill you. The concussion will! The 95 pound round was old and from way back. The fuse is what you are talking about. In artillery, you don’t just do artillery. You do infantry stuff as well, or so we did. Going over tactics with “lift fire”, “shift fire”, all that. Artillery is the KING of battle….Red Legs, putting steel on steel. 1-37FA out of Washington Tacoma JBLM.
Times have changed people……They have taken away ALOT of the military benefits…..and the pay is horrible.! The fucking US Military are responsible for their own recruitment issues. I wrote Trump warning about that vaccine. I told pilots on BIN to retire from the military because I read about the dead civilian pilots that were vaxed and being covered up. Other people advised Trump not to take that vax. The military got the worst of the vaccines and they were just vaccinating themselves with all the CRP covid testing which have nanotechnology on the swabs. The fucking US Military always forces the vaccines on their people for employment. If the military were smart they would have seized those vaccines and looked at what was in them first before they administered them but no they don’t. They are never proactive only reactive. And alot of military were killed or maimed by those vaccines. They never listen to good advice and even when they had the proof with the military data base they have been slow to stop the vaccinations. All to get federal funding which should have been theirs by rights.
