Yesterday I had the chance to see a private screening of the Premiere Episode of ONE STRANGE ROCK, hosted by Will Smith.

And although I purposefully did not want to know that much about it, I arrived at Fox Studios with the intention of being open-minded. Now in my business, an open mind is key to getting the right perspective.

Here’s the skinny on the film…

Yea, I felt like I’ve heard series say things like this before… But once the show began, I knew this was different. Beautifully shot as if it were one of NatGeo’s magazines, the film-10 part series lifts you into a new realm and drives home the concepts of appreciation, gratitude and love of life. From a place where life virtually does not exits… that we know. Outer Space.

Several Astronauts give their accounts of how being in outer space has shifted their appreciation of this planet.

Epic in scope, told by Smith in an inventive stroke, broad and truly informative, ONE STRANGE ROCK hits the mark and is sure to shift your perspective over the ten episodes. It did with me… after just one.
