And that’s not even counting the 69% of all ‘deployed military’ who are private mercenary contractors.

243,000 of these guys are currently in action as of June of this year, and our media pretends they don’t even exist because they aren’t considered actual troops.

For every soldier brought home, they are being replaced by Blackwater/XE contractors, and at an even higher rate going in.
Therefore any ‘claimed’ draw-down number that you hear, you should discard it quicker than immediately.
Even scarier — Obama has no control over these guys, because they are employed by a private company.
But so long as they are getting along they can go everywhere in secret and pretend the working relationship is lawful and copasetic…
Hell, even work in cahoots and be deployed inside the United States, working around Posse Comitatus in the process.
So awesome.
…But that’s a tyrannical side issue that deserves its own topic, and this happening is bad enough.
Final thought: the Nobel Committee awarded the 2009 Peace Prize to the very person who dropped the most bombs and killed the most poor people on this planet during this year.
