Begging For Relevance

I can’t help but wonder if I have been fooled again by another one of the NAACP’s publicity stunts. I am convinced that these so-called civil rights leaders get on their knees and pray every night that racism will always exist in the United States. They seem to be the only ones that benefit from fanning the flames of racism no matter how hard society tries to move beyond it. Anyone who can’t understand that the Tea Party  movement is focused on limited government, lower taxes, controlling government spending has to be either stupid or agenda driven. I believe that in the case of the NAACP the answer is both. They are an irrelevant organization and stunts like these accelerate them down the road to extinction. 

As a blogger and writer, I am constantly trying to grow and focus on other issues that affect our country, yet the race industry continues to keep race at the forefront. This is why. The NAACP is nothing more than a get-out-the-vote-auxiliary working on behalf of the Democratic Party. They are far removed from their legacy. The leaders are nothing more than high priced mercenaries who keep black votes and minds on the Democratic Party’s plantation. It’s no coincidence that these shenanigans always intensify in the months leading up to an election. 

Let me tell you how this is going to play out. The NAACP will once again do their best to portray blacks as emotionally driven people that ignore issues plaguing their daily lives in order to focus on the shortcomings of others. Everyone except so-called black leaders notice the black homicides, black immorality in the entertainment industry and crime on the front pages of our urban newspapers. Yet the NAACP continues to use their platform to make baseless accusations against the Tea Party  in order to raise money to finance the liberal agenda in order to get blacks to vote for Democrats. In 2010, they realize that they need every black vote because they are rapidly losing white people. Liberals know that they can always depend on “colored people” to get wound up about racism. 

After all of the resolutions are done, and the votes are cast, these will be the results. The Democrats will get votes, the unions will get concessions, gays will get married, environmentalists will get tax subsidies, illegal immigrants will get free passes to stay, and black will get crumbling communities, racial rhetoric and broken promises. Black people will be on the front lines defending the liberal agenda and continue to be the victims of it. However blacks people should feel good knowing that their votes support $1000-a-plate NAACP Galas and their six figure salaries. They can wear their Obama shirts with pride knowing that he is serving $100/pound steaks at White House parties and Michelle is wearing $400 sneakers to the homeless shelter. By then they would have forgotten that this was about stopping conservative activists. Nonetheless, this whole episode is bigger than the Tea Party, this is about the survival of the liberal agenda and ultimately the Democratic Party.
