Obama’s “Enemies” Comment Creates ‘Enemy Voters.’

Opening the Floodgates of Voter Rage.

At a recent campaign rally to encourage getting out the Democratic vote, President Obama referred to his political opponents as “our enemies.” This is a shocking choice of words for an American President to use against the opposing political party, not to mention the over 50% of the American people who disagree with his policies. The thought that one is an enemy to the country they love just for a differing of opinion will echo in the ears of many American voters as they go to the voting machines on November 2. The ‘swamp’ in Congress includes Obama and will reflect on the outcome of these elections.

President Obama– “If Latinos sit out the election instead of saying, ‘We’re going to punish our enemies and we’re gonna reward our friends who stand with us on issues that are important to us,’ if they don’t see that kind of upsurge in voting in this election, then I think it’s gonna be harder and that’s why I think it’s so important that people focus on voting on November 2.”

President Obama’s use of the word ‘enemies’ to describe American citizens, rather than radical Muslims, sheds new light on the man a majority of Americans voted for only 2 years ago. It is appalling! And President Obama can’t rewrite it or ‘spin’ it to the voters. He has finally taken the ‘battle of ideology’ to a new level. His smugness is showing as more people see his grand persona shrink after each campaign speech and interview he conducts.

But, the Presidential ‘dude’ has lost more than his shine. His ‘Audacity of Hope’ has become his ‘Audacity of Ego’ and after a disastrous mid-term election will lead him to his ‘Audacity of Deceit’ as he moves forward to 2012. Obama’s advisors have already discussed strategy for the Presidential Elections. If Obama wants to be re-elected their advice is to move his policies to the middle, just as Clinton had done in 1994 after the voters threw the congressional Democrats out of power. The theory of Social Democrats is not to frighten off the middle, especially the independents.

However, there is a big difference between these two Presidents and this strategy. Clinton had kept faith with the middle. There is no way that President Obama will convince the Americans to trust what he says any more. He campaigned on being a centrist, a person who will unite the people and most Americans made little of his comment to ‘Joe the Plumber’ that he believes in “spreading the wealth.” This was truly a glimmer of Obama’s real agenda, which is far more left than the illusion he created which got him elected. His policies and the Czars that he surrounds himself with, are certainly frightening many average Americans as they see the direction this administration is taking the country. More and more Americans are being driven away every day.

And what is most frightful is for their President to see reason to label them ‘the enemy.’ If it weren’t so shocking it would be pathetic! This is a desperate comment for a president to make about the voters. President Obama must be feeling desperate these days. And desperation seems to be the main ingredient for deceit.  If calling his opponents the ‘enemy’ is his best way to get the voters out, then it is also the best way to stoke the flames of voter rage. President Obama ought to think twice as he plans to re-run for the Office. At this rate he is polarizing the American voter, pitting one citizen against the other, worse than any other president in American history. One might begin to think that President Obama is beginning to look like he is the ‘enemy’ to the American way of life. He truly deserves to be a one-time President.
