Today’s Rant

Hey, I’m kinda back.  I just want to share these thoughts with you.  Just because we have been doing things one way for so long now doesn’t make it the perfect solution.  Example:   Education.   If we were doing such a bang up job, results would be a lot better.  Instead we are the joke of the Western World.   Joke:  How much money does it take to educate the average American?   It doesn’t matter cause you can’t afford it anyway.   In my humble opinion which may not be viewed in a good light is, we’re ass backwards on education.  They really should call it what it is, public warehousing.  Having worked in the school system for a while, I saw the waste.  Yes the bandwagon is oh those poor teachers.  Bullshit!   I’m not a teacher fan.  Once they get tenured, they can’t be fired.  What kind of happy horseshit is that?  How about the cost?   Look at your tax bill if you don’t have a weak heart.  The biggest cost on there is School Tax.  We have the cost of buildings, grounds, Transportation, administrative, Teachers, Insurance, Health, and my personal favorite, fucking sports.  Aww but those poor kids need an activity.  Try jerking off, always worked for me!  For a thrill switch hands, it’s like a blind date.

But we need schools?   Excuse me we don’t!  You see technology has actually improved since 1908.  Here’s my answer to this bullshit problem.  (glad you asked)    You like the old ways so much, incorporate some back into how we do things.  One room school House’s.   They worked very well once upon a time and were still being used well into the 70s.   Follow me for a minute here:   All these churches and community centers have for the most part halls and large rooms not being used.   Kids in a community could meet there.   Every kid gets their own computer.  Broad band is everywhere.  Hang on there’s more!  Great teachers get to reach thousands of kids. The lessons can be repeated for as long as the child needs it.  Instead of high paid low life leaches waiting until retirement,  Regular people just watching over the kids to see if they have problems and need any help.   Now all those empty buildings not being used and having exempt taxes can be used for a really good cause.  Educating the community.    Some parents may choose to host a small group of kids in their homes.  Great!    No more any of the things I mentioned as cost above.   Now let’s talk sports!   Have your sports, organize it and do with it as you will.  The cost should be voluntary and not taxes.   Money could certainly be raised if it’s something people want.

Now maybe I’m blowing smoke up your ass,  but maybe it just might work.   I say we try it.   Pick a community and set it up as I’ve suggested.  I’d bet my left nut that the kids scores improve,  social inter-workings  click and the end results would be happier, more successful kids.   Of course we would still need hands on for the kids not cut out for white collar type of endeavors.  I’m sure that could be worked out.    The other option is to do things as they have been done, through tons more money at the problem and expect better results.

Some people no matter what don’t want to evolve, change, or improve.   Let me tell you something!  We better do something because the kids we have going to school today are the dumbest group of low life’s we have had in my life time.  If you don’t believe me ask them some civic questions.  Unless you want a country of Rand Paul’s and Michelle Bachmann’s,  education is the answer.
