Dick Durbin Compares Obama’s Illegal Alien Amnesty Decree to the Emancipation Proclamation, Denounces Constitution as “Fatally Flawed”
If American troops are the equivalent of Nazis and Khmer Rouge killers, then unconstitutionally voiding immigration law so as to swamp the country with Third World welfare colonists must be just like the Emancipation Proclamation — at least, according Democrats’ #2 man in the Senate, Dick Durbin:
“We celebrate that day 152 years ago when a Republican President of the United States, Abraham Lincoln, issued an executive order, an executive order, the Emancipation Proclamation, which freed 3 million slaves in America. It is proper that we celebrate that moment because America stepped forward because of that president’s courage and the use of his executive power.”
This comes in the context of Obama ignoring the law to grant amnesty to millions of illegal aliens. In this context, “courage” means “contemptuous arrogance.”
As for the Constitution that demands Obama faithfully execute the laws instead of governing as a dictator, Durbin opines:
“[I]f we view this document with honesty, we know that it was fatally flawed from the start.”
Yet he swore an oath to uphold it. Since he obviously has no intention of upholding a “fatally flawed” document, he should be removed from power at once — along with the rest of his kind.
