Harvard Honors CAIR's Nihad Awad

Just when you thought Harvard couldn’t sink any lower. Nihad Awad, the CEO of CAIR, is being honored with something called the Robert Coles Call of Service Lecture and Award.

I wonder what specifically Awad has done that merits this award.

Is it issuing the standard CAIR “condemnation” of each terrorist attack that kills Americans-like just last week in New York-along with its “condolences” to the victims?

Is it because he was picked up on an FBI wiretap in Philadelphia back in the 1990s as he and other radical Palestinian figures  planned to establish CAIR?

Is it because CAIR was named as an unindicted co-conspirator in the 2007-8 Holy Land Foundation trial in Dallas, which resulted in multiple convictions for funneling US Islamic charity money to overseas terrorist groups?

Is it for being on a list of suspect organizations that the FBI will not work with?

Is it for encouraging Muslims to slam the door on the FBI if they come to ask for information about terrorism? (Specifically, their San Francisco chapter head Zahra Billoo)

Is it for being an arm of the Muslim Brotherhood?

Is it for its links to Hamas-a US State Dept.-designated terror organization?

Just why is Awad being given this award?
