32-Year-Old College Dropout Refuses to Vacate Dorm Room

The entitlement mentality reaches a new extreme of absurdity, as Hunter College in Manhattan attempts to evict a former student:

Lisa S. Palmer — who has not paid rent since 2016 — refuses to leave Room E579 at the school’s 425 E. 25th St. co-ed dormitory, according to an eviction lawsuit filed in Manhattan Supreme Court.

The 32-year-old “racked up a staggering $94,000 in unpaid residence hall charges on account of her continued occupancy, all the while ignoring Hunter College’s service of additional vacate notices,” said the suit.

Apparently, Palmer hasn’t taken any classes since at least 2016. She actually has a job. But she prefers staying in the dorm room for free to finding an apartment, even though she whimpers that dorm life is “really lonely” at her age.

Palmer barks that she has been treated “unfairly.” Being a person of politically preferred pigmentation, she is likely to have found that she can always get her way by taking this stand, thanks to a warped ideology promulgated at schools like Hunter College.
