Islam’s Obsession with Sex

Muslims spend an exorbitant amount of time and energy obsessing over sex. One of the principal features of Islam is its obsession with the female sex. Every instruction regarding women is based upon a driving need to control their sexuality. An Arab proverb states: “A woman for breeding, a goat for convenience, and a boy for pleasure.”

“According to the Qur’an, a woman’s sexuality is not her own to determine, but a man’s. (Quran 4:34). A wife must submit to the sexual desires of her husband lest she be admonished, isolated, or even beaten. (Quran 4:3). A man may enjoy the sex with multiple wives, but such a right is not merely denied to a woman, it is incomprehensible. A female captive becomes the sex-slave of her male captor, whom the Qur’an expressly gives to the male victor as a spoil of war. The Qur’an expressly states that the wife is a tilth unto her husband, who is encouraged to enter his subordinate female partner when and how he pleases (25:74).”

There is a huge preoccupation with sex in Islam. Sharia Law is extremely strict towards females. In Islam, everything rotates around female genitals. Oppression of women, for one, is so systemic in Islam that to this day, women are, at best, second-class citizens under Islamic law. Saudi Arabia, the custodian of Islamdom, denies women the most basic rights of citizens in democratic societies. Arabs and Muslims are masters of double-acts. They do all things in private, yet the public display of morality, decorum, and even piety is something you wear as you would your Kufiyah even under the sizzling sun.

Muhammad himself was greatly obsessed with sex. When he acquired power he “married” and had sex with children. He “married” numerous wives and took sexual liberties with women he took as slaves in battle. Thus Muhammad set the tone for his followers.

It was narrated from Abu Hurayrah that the Prophet said: “If a man calls his wife to his bed, and she refuses to come, the angels curse her until morning comes.” — al-Bukhari, 3065; Muslim, 1436.

Not only is Islam obsessed with human sexuality; huge numbers of Muslim clergy have written elaborate dissertations on dealing with the procedure of performing sex with various animals (i.e., the Ayatollah Khomeini).

In Islamic societies, women are treated as chattel. Young girls are subjected to barbaric genital mutilation to make them sex slaves and birth channels without the ability to enjoy intercourse. Minors are subject to execution, adulterers are stoned to death, a faithful follower of Allah is allowed to have as many as four permanent wives – and replace any of them at any time he wants.

It is not too far-fetched to view Islam as an aberration in the most comprehensive sense of the word. And the drive of sex being a central tenet for humanity, has also received its share of distortion and misdirection in Islam.

Islam rewards those who become martyrs with 72 virgins. Islam, by fiat, discriminates against women. Qur’an 4:11 “Allah directs you in regard of your Children’s (inheritance): to the male, a portion equal to that of two females…. These are settled portions ordained by Allah.” There are many more “directives” that for all intents and purposes make women slave of men. Here are some of the shameful rules and practices of Islamic misogyny.

“Men have authority over women because God has made the one superior to the other, and because they spend their wealth to maintain them. Good women are obedient. They guard their unseen parts because God has guarded them. As for those whom you fear disobedience, admonish them and send them to beds apart and beat them. Then if they obey you, take no further action against them. Surely God is most high.” Qur’an 4:34

How and why Muslim men behave like savages towards women? For one, they have been kept separated from females from an early age. They act like a pack of hungry wolves once they see women. Don’t believe me? Just ask a Swedish woman.

Islam is stamped on the impressionable mind of the child from birth. The parents and immediate members of the family are the ones who make the very first impression on the tabula rasa of the young mind. These early impressions are the grid-work for further formation of the person’s mind and belief system. It is by far easier, as life goes on, to incorporate “items” that readily fit into the grid-work, than to modify it or dismantle it altogether and begin anew. It is in recognition of the importance of early training and education that people such as Saint Augustine and Freud considered the first few years of life as critical for molding the person.

As we learn more about this primitive ideology, we become more convinced that the Islamic system is custom-made for men, by men, and for the pleasure of men. And the men in power, the clergy, the prime beneficiaries of the system do not intend to voluntarily relinquish their privileged status.
