Comic Books Begin Dying of Moonbattery

Moonbattery is a form of corrosion that eventually destroys anything it touches. Comic books, which have been exploited by social engineers to brainwash youth with far-left propaganda, are no exception.

Thor was made into a girl (although reader backlash forced them to change him back). His archenemy Loki is sometimes a bisexual woman. Gotham City Sirens features bisexual villains Poison Ivy, Harley Quinn, and Catwoman. Batwoman is a lesbian. A transgender superhero called “Dreamer” will soon be introduced.

It isn’t always about gender and sexual perversion; sometimes it is about race. A Trumpesque villain is combatted by a black female version of Captain America. Ironman is now a teenage black girl with an Afro.

No wonder progressives don’t like capitalism. Sooner or later, the free market will say, enough is enough:

The wave of recent cancellations included the homosexual Iceman, a female version of Deadpool (Unbelievable Gwenpool), She-Hulk and even Black Panther: World of Wakanda. …

The comic book industry has a clear problem: it is forsaking its moralistic origins to advance a radicalized progressive social justice paradigm. Marvel and DC are setting themselves up to lose more money and readership because of a growing backlash to the ongoing trend of distorting and perverting the identities of iconic superheroes.

Let’s hope so — and let’s hope the free market provides a less corrosive alternative.
