In-N-Out Burger Boycott Flops

Democrats demand total political compliance. Most corporations obsequiously pander to the left (Procter & Gamble is typical); those that fail to do so are punished. When a journalist revealed that California-based In-N-Out Burger donated a modest $25,000 to the Republican Party, liberals were incensed. Eric Baumann, chairmoonbat of the California Democratic Party, took to Twitter:

Happily, Bauman’s call for a boycott blew up in his face:

By the end of the day, Democrats were distancing themselves from the idea and Republicans were enjoying a political feast, with some making big lunch orders to show their support for the chain and posting photos on social media.

“We have all of our children eating In-N-Out burgers. Even my son’s German shepherd eats In-N-Out,” said state Sen. Jim Nielsen, R-Gerber, whose staff ordered 25 burgers and 50 bags of fries for lunch.

Backpedaling Dems in the state party sheepishly mumble that their leader was just expressing his “personal view” and that the party is not officially calling for a boycott — since no one would honor it anyway.

Actually, In-N-Out donates about equally to both parties. Maybe this is the real reason Democrats don’t like it:

The company has a reputation for maintaining strong Christian beliefs and puts references to Bible verses in its packaging.

Kudos to Californians for preferring hamburgers to their moonbat rulers. Maybe there is hope for the state yet.
