Failed States in Europe?

When you think of failed states, you don’t think of Europe. But could the seeds of future failed states be sprouting roots in the form of Muslim no-go zones? Characteristics of a failed state include competition for a monopoly on the legitimate use of force and inability to provide policing and emergency services. You could argue that a no-go zone — where sharia law is applied and emergency workers fear to go — is a small pocket where the state has begun to fail.

The Muslim population of Europe continues to skyrocket, due both to the endless flow of “refugees” and the explosive Muslim birthrate relative to the native population. Assimilation is not happening. Second-generation Muslims are often more radical than their parents.

It seems likely that no-go zones will expand and become ever more unmanageable. If they do, we can expect to see more sharia courts and more rioting. Sporadic terrorism could escalate to guerilla warfare. As a result, Western European politics could become destabilized for the first time since World War II.
