Identity Leftism Will Eat Itself

Identity leftism may die of its own disease.

The Left used to represent the working class. No longer. It has openly renounced the white working class and the middle class as well in favor of an alliance of underachieving minorities, sanctimonious fools in gated communities, and big-money moonbat power players like Hollywood and Silicon Valley. The rejection of its former base in favor of identity leftism — i.e., cultural Marxism — may have been premature, considering that America’s core population has not yet been completely marginalized. It still constitutes a majority and is at last beginning to resent groups that arrive from other countries to prey on it.

Another problem for Democrats and other proponents of identity leftism is that the explicit purpose of cultural Marxism is to destroy a society by splintering it into warring groups pursuing their own narrow interests. What cultural Marxism has been doing to America, it may also do to the Democrat Party, as special interest groups emerging from within special interest groups squabble for larger slices of the phony victimhood pie.
