Neurophysiology Professor Fails to Comply with Transsexual/Feminist Ideology

Before moonbattery corroded Europe to the point of dysfunction, the duty of professors was to educate. Now, their duty is to tell lies. Those who neglect this duty face punishment. An example from Sweden is Lund University neurophysiology professor Germund Hesslow, whom a student has accused of being “transphobic” and “anti-feminist.”

While answering a question, Hesslow let it slip that there are biological differences between men and women and that gender differences cannot be ascribed exclusively to social constructs. A feminist, who was not even taking his class and got wind of his remarks second hand, denounced him to educrats. Hesslow was told that he must renounce two comments in particular:

that gay women have a “male sexual orientation” and that whether transsexuality is a sexual orientation is “a matter of definition.”

Admirably, Dr Hesslow is standing his ground, and for excellent reason. From his written reply to the medical education chairman:

“If it were to become acceptable for students to record lectures in order to find compromising formulations and then involve faculty staff with meetings and long letters, we should let go of the medical education altogether.”

Exactly. If everything professors say has to meet with the approval of every shrieking leftist coed on campus, they will be too busy standing before inquisitions to teach anything.

Speaking of inquisitions, the university has ordered a full investigation into his case. Hesslow reports that there “have been discussions about trying to stop the lecture or get rid of me, or have someone else give the lecture or not give the lecture at all.” He has reached retirement age and suspects that the university will use this as a pretext to get rid of him.

Then he can be replaced with someone more ideologically obedient. It will also be an opportunity to advance diversity; expect his replacement to be a Woman of Color, probably a Muslim, and not necessarily very knowledgeable about neurophysiology.
