Dave Morrison offers a life hack for countermoonbats to make their Christmas season less acrimonious. Since progressives react to the word “conservative” like a vampire to holy water, you might find it best in some situations to refer to yourself as a small l libertarian.

In lines of work dominated by liberals, it is sometimes impossible to work if people consider you a conservative, due to the tolerance that liberals so pride themselves on. But personal experience confirms that libs will condescendingly forgive you for being a libertarian — even though libertarianism in the Founding Fathers sense is conservativism in overdrive.

Just don’t get mistaken for a big L Libertarian of the type who would support a moonbat like Gary Johnson. That would be hard to live down.
