On Monday night, Frank Magnitz, an official of the German political party, Alternatif fuer Deutschland in Bremen, was violently attacked by leftist thugs and suffered severe head injuries which have left him hospitalized in serious condition.

The below link from Gates of Vienna has a subtitled German news interview with Jörg Meuthen, a spokesman for the AfD.

AfD is opposed to uncontrolled mass migration into Germany and is gaining in popularity. They are branded as racist, xenophobic, and Islamophobic by the left in Germany, which I think is largely unfair. To be sure, they are not guilty of this kind of violence such as we have seen by the left and exemplified by this vicious attack.
