Meanwhile, as patriotic Americans prepare to celebrate the magnificent document Thomas Jefferson bestowed upon our country, moonbats are erasing him from his hometown:
Charlottesville, Virginia, will no longer celebrate Thomas Jefferson’s birthday as an official city holiday and instead will observe a day recognizing the emancipation of enslaved African-Americans.
That will stick it good to Jefferson, who like most Virginia landowners of his time owned slaves.
Jefferson, the third President of the USA and among its greatest, founded the University of Virginia, which is located in Charlottesville.
Charlottesville will now mark Liberation and Freedom Day on March 3, the day U.S. Army forces arrived in the city in 1865.
That is, Virginians will now celebrate their ancestors losing the bloody Civil War.
If progressives prevail, only foreign historians will be able to name the author of the Declaration of Independence a generation from now. At least it is reassuring that scholars in other countries may continue to revere this titan of history, even after he has been frog-marched down the memory hole by his vast inferiors in the country that he played such a major role in creating.

then sold to the ship owners to be used as slaves.
I wonder why this fact is always omitted on who captured their ancestors and sold them into slavery? Must not fit into
their narrative of being victims. Instead of blaming their own for starting and enabling it to take place, “nah, let’s
throw the blame at white folks, so we can get money from them and fire up all of the racial ills all over again”.
Instead of celebrating that they have 90 percent of the music market captured, 90 percent of sports captured,
95 percent of all government jobs captured (Go get license plates and see who has the population cornered behind
the counter), 100 percent of the jobs at black colleges captured, 100 percent of the jobs at BET television captured,
100 percent of the contestants in the Ms Black America contest captured, well nevermind, I digress.
