NY Israel Consul General Calls Terror TV Al Jazeera Host ‘Bigot’

Terror TV Al Jazeera’s Mehdi Hasan is a vicious liar and Israel-hater. Hasan supports the Boycott of Jews (BDS) Movement, so naturally Jeff Zucker (who is Jewish) would give him a platform to slander Israel and President Trump on CNN. It is also not a surprise that CNN corespondent and anti-Israel bigot Peter Beinart would defend Hasan’s remarks on Twitter. Here is the good news: few are watching this dreadful network.

For years, I have exposed the TV terror network of Al Jazeera — I have held press conferences and protests, and have written numerous pieces exposing the terror network’s terror network.

Despite decades of evidence, American leftist leaders led by Hillary Clinton and Al Gore, consistently aligned with evil ideologies and  jihad, have long worked furiously to norm and mainstream al-Jazeera, the terror propaganda network. Remember, Al Jazeera is Hillary’s favorite channel, which she lauded: “it’s real news!”

And while she was Secretary of State, Clinton went out of her way to single out Al Jazeera for praise: “You’ve got a global — a set of global networks — that Al Jazeera has been the leader in, that are literally changing people’s minds and attitudes,” Clinton told that members of the U.S. Senate Foreign Relations Committee.

By contrast, Donald Rumsfeld called the broadcaster’s reporting “vicious, inaccurate and inexcusable,” and President George W. Bush joked about bombing it. Senior Bush officials caricatured the channel as an anti-Semitic, anti-American outlet for jihad incitement.

The Iraqi authorities have shut down the Al Jazeera channel’s Baghdad office, accusing Qatar’s state-funded TV network of inciting violence and sectarianism.

The Consul General to Israel in New York, Dani Dayan, called Al Jazeera host Mehdi Hasan a “bigot” in an Aug. 22 Twitter exchange between the two on anti-Zionism and anti-Semitism.

It all started with Hasan saying on CNN earlier in the day that “lots of anti-Semites support Israel and [Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin] Netanyahu.

“We need to deal with this very dangerous idea that says being pro-Jewish means you have to be pro-Israeli or being pro-Israeli means you’re automatically pro-Jewish & you’re immunized from the charge of anti-Semitsm. CNN contributor Peter Beinart defended Hasan’s remarks in a tweet that stating that Hasan “has a long and courageous record of calling [anti-Semitism] out even within his own community.”

Dayan then responded to Beinart’s tweet, stating, “I know @mehdirhasan personally. I have no doubt he doesn’t hate Jews per se. He – a self-described Anti-Zionist – ‘only’ denies Jews the right of self-determination in any part of their homeland. A ‘small’ thing. Call it what you like but that’s blatant bigotry.”

Hasan said his claims on anti-Zionism were “false” and tweeted that it was “rich” for Dayan to accuse him of bigotry when he was “the former chair of the West Bank settlers council – settlers being among the biggest bunch of racists around.”

Dayan shared a photo of one of Hasan’s prior tweets that read, “I consider myself an anti-Zionist and critic of the Israeli settler state and its ongoing ethnic cleansing project” but urges people to be careful with criticizing Zionism given the rise of anti-Semitism.

Hasan then clarified he meant that anti-Zionism isn’t anti-Semitism; Dayan doubled down on calling Hasan a “bigot” and argued that Hasan never denied “my claim that you deny the Jewish People the right of self-determination in ANY part of its homeland” and to “enjoy the ‘likes’ from the anti-Semitic crowd.”    More…..
