Sanders: If Israel Doesn’t Want Members of Congress Visiting, ‘Maybe They Don’t Want American Money’

Bernie Sanders’ most recent attack against Israel is just another example of what a terrible human being he really is. During his interview with CNN’s Anderson Cooper, Sanders said that Tlaib and Omar are just “critical” of Israel. Sanders stated that members of congress should be welcomed into other countries to help form policy with their constituents. This is nonsense and Sanders knows it.

Being critical of Israel is one thing. Calling for the boycotts and genocide of Israel is something else. What “policy” does Sanders believe that Tlaib and Omar would take back to their constituents upon returning from Israel? A two state solution? Preventing Palestinian incitement and terror? Changing the genocidal Palestinian school curriculum? Not a chance. The policy that Tlaib and Omar would advocate for is the boycotting of Jews through the BDS Movement. Only an anti-Semite such as Sanders would expect Israel to “welcome” such people.

Furthermore, Israel is a sovereign nation. They have every right to refuse the entry of people that they disapprove off. The United States has denied the entry of government officials from other countries as well. For example, under President Obama an Israeli MK was denied entry in the United States. Sanders doesn’t mention that. Sanders also doesn’t mention that Tlaib and Omar refused to participate in the AIPAC tour of Israel. The tour included a visit to Mahmoud Abbas and other Palestinian officials. 17 percent of congress were on this tour.

In addition, Sanders once again threatened Israel with U.S military aid. Sanders doesn’t understand or appreciate the importance of the U.S-Israel relationship. He doesn’t understand the billions of dollars worth of intelligence sharing, weapons upgrades, technological assistance, and economic benefits to the United States, all made possible by it’s co-operation with Israel. Sanders also doesn’t understand that without a strong Israel the Middle East would totally collapse. For Sanders what is important is appeasing his anti-Israel voters. The well-being of America and the world means nothing to this evil Marxist.

Bernie Sanders must never ever be elected president of the United States.

On Thursday’s broadcast of CNN’s “AC360,” 2020 Democratic presidential candidate Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT) reacted to Israel barring Representatives Ilhan Omar (D-MN) and Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) from visiting Israel by stating that if Israel wants to ban members of Congress, then “maybe they don’t want American money as well.”

Sanders said, “You have two members of the United States Congress who are denied access to a country, Israel, which we spend many billions of dollars a year supporting. And if Mr. Netanyahu and others in Israel don’t want members of the U.S. Congress to visit them, maybe they don’t want American money as well.”

Bernie Sanders will consistently exploit his Judaism (which he has rejected) to help legitimize his defense of Jew-haters and his anti-Israel bias. President Trump is right. The Democrat Party is anti-Jewish and anti-Israel.
