Vegan Ice Cream Threatened by Global Warming

Looks like liberal media propagandists have given up on winning converts to the Church of Global Warming and are willing to settle for preaching to the choir. The market for vegan ice cream must consist entirely of moonbats who no doubt believe that the universe will end next Wednesday if taxes aren’t tripled and natural gas isn’t banned, so what is the point of a silly piece like this one from Bloomberg?

Vegan ice cream is a hot commodity these days. But violent storms that have devastated farms in Southeast Asia are are [sic] threatening to take away one of its best ingredients — coconuts.

According to liberal dogma, violent storms are caused by insufficiently repressive climate regulations.

Coconuts’ natural creaminess is seen by some as the best way to imitate dairy, and nondairy ice cream makers now are scrambling to find alternatives.

I know a tasty alternative: real ice cream. But no, that’s a dairy product. Dairy products cause global warming because cows belch and fart. If people switch to real ice cream, that will only create a vicious cycle, making pseudo ice cream still more unattainable.

So instead, they are considering the use of tofu and “aquafaba — the liquid from a can of chickpeas.”

Maybe this is tongue in cheek, and Bloomberg is trying to reach out to conservatives in need of a laugh.
