Israel, Japan Sign Defense Agreement in Tokyo handing the BDS Movement another defeat

Israel and Japan signed a Memorandum of Understanding Tuesday morning at the headquarters of the Japanese Ministry of Defense in Tokyo.

Israel’s Director of Security for Defense Nir Ben Moshe was accompanied at the ceremony by Ambassador to Japan Mrs. Yafa Ben Ari. Japan’s Director-General for International Affairs, Mr. Suzuki was accompanied by Japanese Equipment Policy ATLA Director-General Mr. Aoyagi.

“I applaud the important agreement that was signed this morning with the Japanese Ministry of Defense,” Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said in a statement following the signing. “The agreement will deepen and strengthen security relations between the countries. We have brought Israel-Japan relations to an all-time high.”

The agreement is expected to strengthen and deepen defense cooperation and relations between Israel and Japan.

Sun D’Or to Begin Direct Flights from Israel to Japan

El Al subsidiary Sun D’Or is set to launch its new direct route between Ben Gurion International Airport and Narita Airport in Japan beginning this week.

Israel, Japan Sign Digital Health Tech, Cybersecurity Deals

Earlier this year, the two countries signed a series of six partnership deals in the fields of cybersecurity, digital health technologies and the automotive industry, along with a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in the field of digital health during a visit to Israel by a senior Japanese government and business delegation.
