O’Rourke: The Democrats Are Coming for Your Guns +Videos

Former three-term Congressman from El Paso, Texas, and one of the current 2020 presidential candidates, Robert Francis ‘Beto’ O’Rourke, during Thursday night’s Democratic Party debate proudly proclaimed what most clear-thinking Americans suspected all along and what a growing number of citizens believe is true:

If a Democrat is elected President, and more Democrats populate the U.S. Congress, they are coming to your house to collect all of your guns, especially the military-looking AR-15 and other semi-automatic rifles and handguns.

When asked if the Democrats will disarm Americans if they are elected, O’Rourke replied:

O’ROURKE: “I am, if it’s a weapon that was designed to kill people on a battlefield.

“If the high impact, high velocity round, when it hits your body, shreds everything inside of your body because it was designed to do that so you would bleed to death on a battlefield and not be able to get up and kill one of our soldiers.”

According to former Det. Lt. Ralph Cramerel, a former firearms instructor, the AR-15 sold in gun stores in the U.S. are not military weapons and are not fully automatic. Also, demonstrations have shown that deer hunting rifles are more powerful than semiautos that are sold to civilians.

O’ROURKE: “When we see that being used against children and in Odessa, I met the mother of a 15-year-old girl who was shot by an AR-15 and that mother watched her bleed to death over the course of an hour because so many other people were shot by that AR-15 in Odessa, there weren’t enough ambulances to get to them in time.

“Hell, yes, we’re going to take your AR-15, your AK-47. We’re not going to allow it to be used against a fellow American anymore.”

“Someone should tell O’Rourke no military in the world uses AR-15s,” said Cramerel.
