San Francisco: NRA Is a Terrorist Organization

A crucial front in the Cold Civil War is the siege of language. Words leftists don’t like are forbidden, as the Newspeak Dictionary steadily shrinks. Words they have a use for are repurposed. For example, “liberal” used to refer to proliberty countermoonbats like Thomas Jefferson. Now it refers to antiliberty maniacs like Michael Moore. Another example is the word “terrorist,” which on the Left can be defined as “that which leftists are committed to destroying.” This means that the NRA is a terrorist organization.

The San Francisco Board of Supervisors passed a resolution on Tuesday declaring that the National Rifle Association is a domestic terrorist organization.

The NRA did not bomb the Pentagon like Barack Obama mentor Bill Ayers and friends. It did not fly airliners full of innocent people into office towers full of more innocent people like the Muslims championed by progressives. Its “terrorism” consists of lawfully defending a key component of the US Constitution.

The irresponsible resolution passed unanimously. San Francisco’s lunatic leaders urge other cities, states, and even the federal government to follow suit. If Bernie Sanders would promise to throw energy executives in prison for keeping the lights on, why shouldn’t other “liberals” do the same to those who defend our fundamental rights?

The NRA responds, via KTVU:

“This ludicrous stunt by the Board of Supervisors is an effort to distract from the real problems facing San Francisco, such as rampant homelessness, drug abuse and skyrocketing petty crime, to name a few. The NRA will continue working to protect the constitutional rights of all freedom-loving Americans.”

Freedom-loving Americans constitute one minority that does not qualify for special privileges.

As its elected rulers strike authoritarian poses, San Francisco continues to swirl down the drain.
