Swastika Found on Tufts Jewish Student’s Door

A couple of years ago, Pamela Geller was scheduled to speak at Tufts and the students who supported the talk were bullied, harassed and mocked. So is this surprising? The nototriously left American Jewish leadership have sided with hate groups like CAIR, SPLC, ISNA paving the way for the new era of antisemitism.

This anti-Semitic attack was condemned by Tufts University president Tony Monaco. “I condemn this cowardly act of hatred and ignorance. It is a direct attack on our Jewish community and an affront to our values as an institution” said Monaco. Monaco should spare us from this phony statement of condemnation. That is because under his leadership Tufts University has become a flagship school for the BDS (boycott the Jews) Movement.

In 2017, Tufts students passed a BDS resolution which called on the university to divest from four companies that do business in Israel. In addition, Tufts University currently offers a course called “Colonizing Palestine”  which is taught by a pro-BDS professor. Why are you allowing the anti-Semitic BDS Movement to flourish at your university, Mr. Monaco?

Anti-Semitic and anti-Israel activity is out of control on American college campuses. Don’t be surprised if one day we read about the murder of a Jewish student on campus by the pro-Palestinian Left. Urgent action is required.

Swastika Found on Tufts Jewish Student’s Door

A swastika was found attached to a Jewish student’s door in a Tufts University dormitory on the evening of Sept. 15.

Tufts University President Tony Monaco said in a Sept. 17 statement, “I condemn this cowardly act of hatred and ignorance. It is a direct attack on our Jewish community and an affront to our values as an institution.”

He added that university police are investigating the matter and encouraged community members to attend Holocaust scholar Deborah Lipstadt’s anti-Semitism lecture later that day.

It is not publicly known which specific dorm the swastika was found in.

Tufts Hillel Director on Initiative for Innovative Community Building Rabbi Jordan Braunig told the student newspaper Tufts Daily, “Anti-Semitism is strange in the way that … you can get gas-lit enough times where you’re made to question your experience enough that you start to do that on your own.

Anti-Defamation League CEO Jonathan Greenblatt tweeted, “Disturbing that a @TuftsUniversity student found a swastika on their door. #AntiSemitic attacks are appalling on any campus, but it hits close to home to see such blatant bigotry at my alma mater.”
