Will Warren Scare Wall Street Away From Dems?

Have the crony capitalists running Wall Street and Big Business finally figured out that the communist crocodile plans to eat them first, not last, no matter how much they feed it? They have been foolish enough to embrace corporate moonbattery and to donate to Democrats, but they are not blind; they can see that Marxists have been taking over the Democrat Party from within. They would have to be insane to like it.

Democratic donors on Wall Street and in big business are preparing to sit out the presidential campaign fundraising cycle — or even back President Donald Trump — if Sen. Elizabeth Warren wins the party’s nomination.

Bernie Sanders is even more openly menacing than Warren regarding the looting and malicious hyperregulation he would like to inflict in the name of Marxist ideology. However, they probably dismiss Sanders as an aging hippy with no chance of winning and no idea of how to impose his agenda if he did. Warren is a genuine threat to economic freedom.

“You’re in a box because you’re a Democrat and you’re thinking, ‘I want to help the party, but she’s going to hurt me, so I’m going to help President Trump,’” said a senior private equity executive, who spoke on condition of anonymity in fear of retribution by party leaders.

I hope this person isn’t Caucasian. It is strictly forbidden for white people to vote in their self-interest.

During the campaign, Warren has put out multiple plans intended to curb the influence of Wall Street, including a wealth tax. … Trump, meanwhile, has given wealthy business leaders a helping hand with a major corporate tax cut and by eliminating regulations.

Let’s see, they can support someone who will help them make money, or someone who will break their legs out of sheer malice. Seems like a no-brainer, but liberalism is a strange disease.

Many members of the liberal elite will be socially and possibly professionally ruined if they get outed for making politically incorrect donations. But we can hope that at the very least they will go GOP in the privacy of the voting booth and refrain from giving much money to the Dems.

It is even possible that sanity will prevail, and the business community will openly recognize that the Democrat Party wants to snatch the last golden eggs and then strangle the goose that lays them. They gave big to Barack Obama; their reward was Dodd-Frank and the Great Recession. Democrats’ trajectory takes them ever closer to straightforward communism. Already even Obama looks like a moderate compared to the current crop of presidential candidates.
