If there is one silver lining in the corona pandemic crisis, it’s that the education system could very well lose the ideological choke-hold it’s held over our children for decades. The left seized control of education and turned our public school system into re-education camps. It’s why young people are so ignorant to the terrors of socialism, communism. Instead the otherwise silly notion of “climate change” has now become the biggest, baddest bogeyman.

An unintended consequence of the Corona lock-down is school choice. But in Oregon left-wing authoritarians say, not so fast.

So they are stuck home with no online education.  From the story:  …some 300 students successfully transferred in mid-March to Oregon Connections Academy alone, and the teacher’s unions were alarmed by this mass exodus from the public schools. Under pressure from the unions, the Oregon Department of Education stopped allowing transfers on March 27. At Oregon Connections Academy, this means some 1,600 students who had sought to transfer won’t be able to, says Jeff Kropf, the school’s founder and president of the board of directors (WSJ).  From Betsy DeVos: Surely this must be an April Fools’ Day joke or just #FakeNews, right?
