War on History Degenerates Into Digging Up Graves

Liberals are lousy losers, as ObamaGate confirms. They are even lousier winners.

One of their biggest victories has been claimed retroactively. The South lost the Civil War before the Cultural Marxist ideology that defines today’s Left even existed. Yet modern liberals revel in the defeat of the CSA as if they had fought in the bloody Civil War themselves.

When America was dominated by great men like Abraham Lincoln and Robert E. Lee, defeat with honor was possible. That’s why the war ended, instead of grinding on indefinitely as a guerilla campaign. Given their devotion to honor, Southern soldiers may have fought to the last man before surrendering if they had known what the future would hold. In contrast, progressives have no concept of honor.

That’s why leftists attack an enemy that ceased to exist in 1865. A prime objective of the War on History is to eradicate all traces of the heroes of the South. This totalitarian campaign has escalated to the point where liberal ghouls are actually defiling graves by digging up bodies:

The bodies of a famous Civil War general and his wife are set to be exhumed from a Tennessee park less than three years after a statue memorializing the officer was torn down.

General Nathan Bedford Forrest and his wife are slated to be ejected from their not-so-eternal resting place in Health Sciences Park in Memphis.

Some find value in remembering American history:

The city of Memphis was unable to remove the statues originally thanks to Tennessee’s Heritage Protection Act.

However, the moonbats running Memphrica found a workaround:

In an effort to get rid of the statues for good, the city sold two parks in late 2017 to Memphis Greenspace for $1,000 each, according to the Commercial Appeal.

Apparently, agreeing to erase remnants of heritage was part of the deal.

It has yet to be decided what will be done with Nathan Bedford Forrest’s defenseless remains. If it is up to woke liberals, his bones are likely to be discarded in a landfill. Robert E. Lee will soon follow, and then the slave-owning white male Southern Founding Fathers, starting with George Washington and Thomas Jefferson.
