Leftists Continue to Malign Nick Sandmann

Subjecting Kentucky teenager Nick Sandmann to the Two Minutes Hate for wearing a MAGA hat and keeping his cool as he was harassed by bullies of color blew up in the liberal establishment’s face. CNN and the Washington Post were forced to pay massive settlements for defaming him. Yet even now, liberals cannot leave the kid alone. When he spoke at the Republican National Convention recently, Clinton apparatchik Joe Lockhart refused to watch, denouncing him as a “snot nose entitled kid from Kentucky.” Now Sandmann has been accepted to college, enraging ACLU staffer Samuel Crankshaw:

Does anyone else think it’s a bit of a stain on Transylvania University for accepting Nick Sandman? I’m sure it’s a “both sides” defense, but it’s pretty counter to their mission and another instance of there not actually being equal sides to an issue. I think TU should accept anyone willing to have an open mind and engage in debate, regardless of their views. That’s how we all learn. That’s Transy’s mission.

But this kid clearly is a provocateur in training with no intention of learning.

Leftists are all for hearing both sides — except that there is only one side: theirs. So everyone who is not on it must be canceled.

Among the reasons Crankshaw knows Sandmann is a provocateur with no interest in learning:

He is proudly defending Kyle Rittenhouse, who murdered two people for exercising political speech.

Like Sandmann, Rittenhouse is an innocent teenager who was set upon by aggressive leftists. Sandmann defended himself with a smile; being physically attacked, Rittenhouse was forced to use a firearm.

A more dishonest distortion of the Rittenhouse event than Crankshaw’s calumny above would be hard to imagine. We all have a good idea of what really happened. It was captured on video.

The ACLU used to stand for fundamental rights. No right is more fundamental than self-defense.

Now the ACLU stands for advancing leftism by attacking those who stand in its way.
