Joe and Hunter Biden

The New York Post is reporting that a laptop, believed to belong to Hunter Biden, has been recovered by the FBI, and that the laptop contains a 2015 e-mail to Hunter from a Burisma official in Ukraine thanking him for introducing him to his father, then-Vice President Joe Biden. This reported message occurred several months before the vice president successfully pressured the then president of Ukraine to fire the prosecutor who was investigating Burisma for corrupt practices. The younger Biden was then sitting on the board of directors of Burisma though he had no experience in the field of energy. According to the NY Post’s report, there is also a 2014 message from the Burisma official, Vadiym Pozarskyi, asking how Hunter “could use his influence” to help the Ukrainian energy company. For one thing, the 2015 e-mail further calls into question Joe Biden’s public statements that he never discussed Burisma with his son. The 2014 e-mail serves to support the obvious conclusion-that Hunter Biden was hired by Burisma because of his political connection-Vice President Biden. It also suggests that this connection was, indeed, used for corrupt purposes.

Today, Fox News has additional information on the May 2014 correspondence which makes it look even more serious and indicates possible State Department involvement, as well as other associates of Hunter Biden.

“We urgently need your advice on how you could use your influence to convey a message / signal, etc .to stop what we consider to be politically motivated actions,”  Pozharskyi wrote.

“Later that day, King sent Hunter Biden and Archer an email, saying that “the immediate plan is to reach out to the Energy and Ukraine desks, respectively at State [Department] to introduce them to Burisma and ‘update’ them on Burisma’s current situation, which will include the issues you’ve emailed me about today per Vadim’s emails to you.”

“If it’s okay with you, I’ll have a more pointed conversation with him today so we can get moving, starting with key State [Department] officials we need to start talking to this week,” she wrote.

The information has reportedly been turned over to the Senate Homeland Security Committee, which, according to Senator Ron Johnson (R-WI), is “validating” the report.

If all that is not alarming enough, it is pretty shocking to watch the reaction of the mainstream media. They are ignoring the story. Today I have looked over the websites of CNN, MSNBC, ABC, NBC, and CBS. I was unable to find a single mention of it. Same for the New York Times and Washington Post. Only Fox News is running with the story. The others prefer to put up headlines about Trump and the “big” news that Senator Mazie Hirono (D-HI) caught Amy Coney Barrett referring to “sexual preference” rather than “sexual orientation” during her confirmation hearing.

What’s more, social media giants like Facebook and Twitter are taking it a step further. They are trying to block the story from being posted.

Personally, I don’t know what’s worse, the corruption of the Bidens, or what our news media has degenerated into. Not only do they engage in politically-biased, slanted news, they also ignore news they don’t like, no matter how big it is.
