Ciattarelli endorsed by Ocean County GOP screening committee
Jack Ciatterelli won the unanimous gubernatorial endorsement of the Ocean County Republican screening committee today, according OCGOP Chairman Frank Holman.
The committee, which is chaired by County Commissioner Jack Kelly, endorsed the incumbent senators and assembly members in legislative districts 9, 10, 12 and 30. Only the LD 10 assembly incumbents were challenged.
Commissioner Director Gary Quinn was unchallenged and received the unanimous endorsement of the committee. Little Egg Harbor Committeewoman Barbara “Bobbi” Jo Crea was selected from amoung 13 candidates for the County Commissioner seat being vacated by Gerry Little, who is not seeking reelection.
The Ocean County Republican Convention will be held on March 10. Today’s endorsements are a message to the rank and file from the party’s leadership.
