Bond means that you are not convicted, only accused, perhaps falsely. For instance, I was coming home from work, then stopped by a police officer looking for a payoff from the drug dealer that I resembled. Because I expressed my irritation at being delayed from getting home, I ended up jailed for resisting false detention. I had to bond out of our County facility. The charges were eventually dismissed, the L.E.O.’s involved received the appropriate discipline. Equating someone bonded out of jail with someone who has committed a crime is incorrect.
