Sweden: Hizb ut-Tahrir and : Undercover Meetings in Stockholm

Swedish State Television (SVT) this week released video recordings of an undercover reporter with a hidden camera attending a  meeting with a leader from the radical Islamist organization, Hizb ut-Tahrir in the Stockholm suburb of Järva,  In the first of two video clips posted in this article, the organizer explains how Muslims in Europe can establish their own caliphate. In the second video, the man describes a conversation he supposedly had with a Jewish man he called, “McFeller”, who said that it was the Jews who “initiated women’s liberation for the purposes of increasing the workforce and making more money.”

Hear how it sounds when radical Islamists recruit in Järva

The radical Islamist movement, Hizb ut-Tahrir, during recent times, has begun to recruit more actively in the Järva area. They organize, among others, recruitment meetings and religious education in Tensta and Rinkeby. SVT’s reported was able to attend their secret meeting.

During the past weeks, SVT’s reporter, under a false identity and with a hidden camera, has had contact with Hizb ut-Tahrir in the neighborhood of Järva, where the party is now trying to recruit some twenty persons.

SVT’s reporter has attended educational meetings at the home of one of the leaders and gained access to private “lessons” on how the group sees Islam and where it is claimed that Muslims should be aware that the Western world is planning to attack the Muslim faith.

Calls not to vote in Democratic elections

The hidden camera shows both the group’s anti-Democratic foundation and how one of its leaders spreads conspiracy theories.

SVT has been in contact with the man who SVT’s reporter met in Rinkeby and informed him of the hidden camera. The man has not returned with any comment.

Fousesquawk comment: This is hardly surprising. Hizb ut-Tahrir is an international Islamist movement that, indeed, believes in a worldwide caliphate. They have branches in different parts of the world. In addition, they have held annual conferences in Chicago.
