OUTLOOK

Dry high pressure will persist over the region through Tuesday night, and temperatures will moderate back to seasonal normals through the first half of the week. A slow moving frontal system will arrive from the northwest Wednesday night into Thursday bringing rain which will continue across the region until Friday. Dry and cool high pressure arrives behind the cold front Friday night into Saturday.

Franklin Area Schools

Franklin area schools will operate on a two hour delay today, Monday, January 31, 2022 with no buses on icy roads.

Nantahala School

Nantahala School will be operating on a Two-Hour Delay today, Monday, January 31, 2022.

Southwestern Community College

SCC Delayed Opening on 1/31/22 – All SCC locations except the Public Safety Training Center will open at 10 a.m.
