Hurricane Ian Causes Electric Cars to Burst Into Flames
In the unlikely event that you need another reason to steer clear of the electric vehicles our Democrat rulers are trying to force on us on the grounds that these extravagantly expensive, unreliable, coal-powered moonbatmobiles will by some magic improve the weather, here’s one more. Following a hurricane of the sort we have always had and always will have regardless of what kind of car you drive, EVs are more likely than ever to burst into flames:
A top Florida state official warned Thursday that firefighters have battled a number of fires caused by electric vehicle (EV) batteries waterlogged from Hurricane Ian.
Chief Financial Officer Jimmy Patronis also serves as Florida’s State Fire Marshal:

No wonder EVs are so costly to insure.
Ian has caused over 1 million people to lose power. Imagine how long it would take to get the power back on if it were all generated by wind turbines and solar panels, both of which would be likely to be destroyed by the hurricane. In the meantime, even those EVs that did not burst into flames would not be going anywhere.
But the federal government forces us to subsidize them anyway, so as to curry favor with the climate. Meanwhile, manufacturers raise the price by the same amount as the subsidy.
Alarmingly, states under total Democrat domination like California and New York have actually moved to make relatively safe, affordable, reliable, efficient, and environmentally friendly real cars illegal, with the explicit goal of forcing everyone into these idiotic death traps for ideological reasons.

I called a friend to tell him about this and his cellphone media said these batteries can catch fire later after the fire fighters are through putting out the original fire. Reports of delayed fires. So check with your dealers. These lithium batteries are expensive at 1000 dollars or more so find out if it is safe and if you need a totally new battery and work done with the fluid replacement through the battery system. I’m sorry for all the Floridians losing homes and cars but this is the work of the Deep state with weather warfare. The democrats more than republicans are working with the deep state.
