There are dust storms all the time and yet, I don’t remember white dust making it’s way to WV before.

Have these areas EVER had WHITE dust come in from other regions? If it’s unprecedented, that might be a big clue. Since when is dust white and look like what those pictures show.

Everyone use a neutralizing cleaner to wash off your stuff! A neutralizing cleaner, it will help neutralize the harmful physical reactions from touch. I work as a custodian, we use a neutralizing floor cleaner for all floors for a reason. It’s to clean up chemical spills and to try and neutralize harmful chemical reactions from physical contact. Stride or the equivalent neutralizing disinfectant. Added note: dont use it on stuff you’re eating or for food, always read the directions when using any cleaners. Four basic cleaners as custodians we know: your all purpose cleaner, disinfectant cleaner, a restroom cleaner(which we barely use since it’s considered acidic), and a neutral based cleaner for floors (which helps in neutralizing small chemical spills and or to neutralize any hazardous side affects of it).

Odd that right after the Ohio chemical disaster, is conveniently the first time a dust storm has ever made it to West Virginia from New Mexico…
