The AANR Education Foundation describes itself as “a charitable partner of the American Association for Nude Recreation.” It bestows grants upon individuals and organizations that promote nudism by supporting AANR goals, which include to “enhance opportunities for young nudists and other youth.”
To that end, scholarships of up to $1,500 are offered:
Students age 17 and older, who have AANR affiliation and/or experience are eligible to apply for scholarships to further their education.
There was a time when furthering the education of a 17-year-old in such manner would get you chased down by an angry mob or at the very least imprisoned. But times have changed. The AANR Education Foundation is an official 501(c)(3) charitable organization to which donations are tax-deductible.
