You Do Not Want Tyranny at This Level

Want to know about life under the likes of Tim Walz? Ask someone with experience — like Lisa Hanson:

A mother of eight children and soon to be 18 grandchildren, Hanson said besides a speeding ticket she received as a teenager, she had always been a law-abiding citizen and owned businesses with her husband for more than 30 years.

Maybe that’s the problem. Those who are not law-abiding, Walz allows to run riot.

Her wine and coffee bistro initially complied with the [Covid] shutdown ordered [in March 2020]. However, Hanson said she watched for months afterward as Walz never fully re-opened the state when it came to businesses deemed non-essential, such as the bars, restaurants, gyms, dance studios and hair salons. By contrast, the governor never shut down liquor stores, the “big box stores” or even strip clubs.

According to the rules of Covid tyranny, the ChiCom virus only spread among enterprises Democrats don’t like. This included not only churches but also mom-and-pop shops like hers.

As if still living in the Land of the Free, she reopened The Interchange Wine & Coffee Bistro. Walz’s regime came down on her like a ton of bricks, “siccing the health department on her business and eventually bringing about a half dozen civil and criminal cases against her.”

She was convicted in December 2021 on misdemeanor charges and received the maximum sentence of 90 days and a $1,000 fine. Hanson ended up serving two-thirds of her sentence, 60 days.

A couple months in jail might not mean much to the Democrat base. It meant plenty to Hanson; she missed the birth of a grandchild.

Her business was crushed under the weight of legal fees and fines:

“After everything that happened, Tim Walz and Keith Ellison destroyed my business. They wrecked my life.”

Walz’s comrade Attorney General Keith Ellison, an alumnus of Nation of Islam, used to be Deputy Chair of the Democratic National Committee. He is complicit in the railroading of Derek Chauvin.

Warns Hanson:

“You do not want tyranny at this level.”

But the media does. So we will be told that we do too — or rather, we will be told that tyranny is freedom.
