Humanitys Predicament: Too Many People To Sustain Civilizations

% of readers think this story is Fact. Add your two cents.

By Frosty Wooldridge

Each day, the United States adds another 8,100 people, net gain, to its already overpopulated 315 million citizens.  Each year, America adds another 3.1 million on its way to adding 138 million more people by 2050—a scant 38 years from now.

Each day, the world population adds another 240,000 people, net gain to total 80 million more starving and desperate humans on the planet, annually.  Every 12 years, humanity adds another 1 billion people on its way to 10.1 billion in 38 years.  The environmental damage caused by such numbers staggers even the simplest of minds.

The raging monster upon the land is population growth. In its presence, sustainability is but a fragile theoretical construct.  To say, as many do, that the difficulties of nations are not due to people, but to poor ideology and land-use management is sophistic.”  Harvard scholar and biologist Dr. E.O. Wilson

Each day, Americans and all humans on six continents face less water, less arable land, less energy, less resources and less food.  They face more starvation, more wars for resources and more misery on a scale unheard of in history—yet, humans keep chugging up their numbers as if no tomorrow will come.  They keep burning gas at 84 million barrels per day and billions of tons of coal as if they can deluge the planet with their carbon output with no consequences. www.350.org

Lester Brown, author of Plan B 4.0 Saving Civilization said, “The world has set in motion environmental trends that are threatening civilization itself.  We are crossing environmental thresholds and violating deadlines set by nature. Nature is the timekeeper, but we cannot see the clock.”

Few understand and most do nothing.  Leaders avoid, evade and ignore the human population juggernaut.  All to everyone’s peril!  Denial remains the easiest and most potent method for ignoring what we face in the very near future, i.e., more Katrina’s, more Sandy’s, more tornadoes, more droughts and more starvation for humans. BTW, the World Health Organization documents 18 million humans suffer death through starvation annually. Those moribund numbers will rise as humanity’s numbers rise.

“Most Western elites continue urging the wealthy West not to stem the migrant tide [that adds 80 million net gain annually to the planet], but to absorb our global brothers and sisters until their horrid ordeal has been endured and shared by all—ten billion humans packed onto an ecologically devastated planet.” Dr. Otis Graham, Unguarded Gates

Since it’s difficult to “imagine” these catastrophic conditions nationwide, you may educate yourself and others with the following videos. Dr. Jack Alpert brings humanity’s plight to logical and understandable reality.  In his three brilliant videos, he spells it out.

Additionally, for the United States, these two videos by Roy Beck, www.NumbersUSA.org will bring America’s plight into graphic reality.

The good news: you can join www.NumbersUSA.org to become part of an army of Americans who care about the future of their children, our environment and sustainability.

In a five minute astoundingly simple yet brilliant video, “Immigration, Poverty, and Gum Balls”, Roy Beck, director of www.numbersusa.ORG, graphically illustrates the impact of overpopulation.  Take five minutes to see for yourself:

This 10 minute demonstration shows Americans the results of unending mass immigration on the quality of life and sustainability for future generations: in a few words, “Mind boggling!”  www.NumbersUSA.org

If you are living in the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia or all of Europe, these videos pertain to you and your children.  Overpopulation will become the greatest dilemma facing humanity in all of history.  Either we solve it gracefully, or Mother Nature will solve it brutally.   We must call for all leaders of the world to address human overpopulation. We must call for human population stabilization.

If  not, Mother Nature will presume that you chose to increase your numbers beyond her ability to feed, water, warm, house and transport your numbers.  Once you do that, she will act swiftly, without mercy and with deadly intent.  Mother Nature always bats last.

      i disagree
if we as a civilization had put our priorities proper…this wouldn’t even be a current thought in anyone’s mind.
instead greed and a bankster’s plan unfolds deeper n deeper.
      could we reverse their damage?
that would be a better use of my time to read.
how could we as a species be sitting today…;)

Disagreeing without possessing the facts puts you in the same category as most of America: an innumerate. Until you watch the videos and educate yourself as to our quickly running out of water, energy, arable land, etc., you are running on a lack of facts and understanding. We are heating up the globe with carbon output, killing all the other creatures, poisoning the air, water and land 24/7 with 80,000 chemicals, acidifying the oceans into inhabitability and a dozen other consequences. Educate yourself instead of relying on emotions. FW

        • Hermodr

So I was reading your comment and agreeing, then I stumbled upon the part where you said carbon has anything to do with heating up the globe and started to lol.

And you tell people to get educated.. shame shame!

    • caribbean critic

The whole premise of this article is false, fallacious! The state of Texas could quite easily sustain the current population of the USA given that resources manpower and capital were n9ot being wasted on the military and it’s imperial ambitions. In fact the land mass of Australia alone if farmed and run correctly could sustain a human population of over thirty Billion people!
So take your eugenics and stuff them where the sun never shines

      • Frosty Wooldridge

Yet another innumerate without the scientific knowledge or understanding to support such an absurd contention of everyone living in Texas. You left out the one fact about Australia: it’s 96 percent desert with no water and no arable land. Humans are destroying the oceans with carbon overload called acidification, killing endless species, blasting the air, water and land with 80,000 chemicals daily, overloading the biosphere and innumerates like you think 30 billion more can be added. God, I am at my wits end when I must deal with innumerates. This has nothing to do with eugenics because in the end Mother Nature is the final arbiter. FW

      • Bargepole

Go check out exponential functions somewhere. Even if Australia did manage to support 30 billion people (where did that come from???), within a few decades it would have to be able to support 60 billion. Then 120 billion. Then 240 billion. You get the idea. Australian rabbits know more about this than you do.

    • TruthHurts

      SHILL

agenda 21 is an evil globalist plot

the earth can sustain MUCH more people with the right type of management

DO NOT BELIEVE OVERPOPULATION MYTHS – its just globalist hogwash to kill more people.

      • Hermodr

You shush now… Moloch demands his quarry!

    • i_think_i_smell_a_rat

      running out of water…really?
      Desalination comes to mind
      arable land
      Aeroponics comes to mind
      global warming
how far are we from the last iceage cycle anyway in the age of this rock to begin with
      hmmm
if the resources put into “defense and space ” had been used on habitation we’d all be in a state of bliss to be on this rock.
how deep could we build bunkers if needed or how high could skyscrapers be?

banksters-now there is the over-population with even one

    • BeastLee

if we lived true to nature the earth can hold like 250 billion people… so hah… 7 billion is over populated me ass… we just need to quit living like a bunch if disrepsectful POS’

      • Frosty Wooldridge

As a world traveler, having already seen what’s coming as to water shortages, energy depletion, resource depletion, loss of quality of life, loss of standard of living–all caused by overpopulation, I am mystified how individuals can attack my reasoned and rational commentaries on what we face. we could change it, but most don’t understand it and attack those of us who do.

It’s beyond astounding that educated individuals think we can keep expanding human population on a finite planet. It’s not mathematically possible. It’s impossible. We already see the starvation and consequences around the world, but we think arrogantly, that we can overwhelm Nature without consequences. It’s fascinating that we think we are special in the face of reality.

We could save ourselves, but I suspect we will explode toward a billion people in the USA and then, violently crash like a herd of deer or lemmings or wars, disease, etc. Good grief, we are so terribly stupid. FW

    • Usefuleater

“Each day, the world population adds another 240,000 people, net gain to total 80 million more starving and desperate humans on the planet, annually…

BTW, the World Health Organization documents 18 million humans suffer death through starvation annually. Those moribund numbers will rise as humanity’s numbers rise.”

Isn’t this why AIDS, Ebola, Hunta Virus, Bird Flu, GMO’s, Chemtrails, Corexit, Oil-poisoned seafood, vaccines with mercury, BPA, and Radioactivity from Fukushima were created by the “Powers that Be” to cull mankind in order to reverse this trend? If not, then almost 100% of the content on B.I.N. is complete B.S. I tend to think that humanity is more likely on a collision course with extinction, if the insanity of Elites does not come to a stop.

    • DaveB

Never mind the high numbers, after the global economic collapse, of which the 2008 credit crisis was just a fore taste, the global population will plummet as the food sources will dry up and most people starve to death.

I expect about 5 billion deaths within the decade and a human population below 1 billion.

      • Frosty Wooldridge

        Dave B,

You just about on target. We will see horrific human die-off as oil depletes and not enough energy to grow food. The videos alone give the story and it’s difficult to flee. But, as you notice, several folks at the top of the responses live in the past and lack the intellectual horsepower to see what’s coming. Thanks for responding, FW

        • Bargepole

You have my sympathies Frosty, but I’m afraid population growth and peak oil are two concepts that the trendy anti-elites can’t take on board. Perhaps it smacks too much of a boring old reality. Perhaps it explains gov’ment policies too well. A lack of villains to blame maybe. Or not enough transdimensional Lizard Kings and Brown Dwarfs. (And those are the imaginitive ones. The rest are mostly too busy telling each other to wake up in capitals and calling everyone shills and sheeple.) On a positive note, at least you’re a prophet crying in the wilderness, even if it doesn’t do anyone any good.
