America's Christian heritage, blessings and future (teachings from a Pastor)

God has richly blessed the United States of America. In reality, America should not have prevailed in the Revolutionary War, or in the War of 1812, or in a number of key battles in the 20th century. Not only has God allowed America to overcome in spite of overwhelming odds, America has  been  richly blessed in the areas of technology, industry, medicine, transportation, natural resources and much more.  I believe there is a correlation between the commitment to faith the early Americans had, and the blessings America has received.  However, it seems to me that in recent decades America has strayed from it’s roots and  forgotten (if not rejected) it’s Christian heritage. The links below are designed to highlight what God has done for America, and call believers to embrace the promise found in Scripture:  ”If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” (2 Chr. 7:14).
