Doesn’t matter if the moving doll is real or fake. Throw the doll in a fire, burn it to ashes, and the moving doll goes away.
The supposed spirit moving the doll, if there really is a spirit, does not usually go away though, just because an object the evil spirit plays with is destroyed. For that to happen the man needs to seek out a spirit filled born again Christian experienced in removing the demon(s) from the house in the name of Jesus and providing instruction to the homeowner in what is necessary to keep the evil spirit(s) away from the home permanently.
If the event the homeowner should decided to first seek out the spirit filled Christian experienced in removing evil spirits from a house in the name of Jesus, and follows that Christians instructions to keep the evil spirits away, then the homeowner would not have any problems with the doll moving after the evil spirits are removed from the house.
