Is that knowledge yours?

We have all come here to rejoice and progress in the truth together. Everyone from all different walks of life. Many of us come from former religious backgrounds, many one sect or another of Christianity. It can’t be helped that we would still carry traces and elements of such thinking in our psyche and perhaps even in our consciousness. We are not terrible for this being the case, as it appears to be with many of us still to varying degrees. These traces and elements may be steadily fading over time, due to it being consciously “scrubbed away” by the will of the individual, or it can be left entirely unnoticed or perhaps even stubbornly clung to and defended by the ego.

This is another crucial reason for us to engage in open dialogue with ourselves and each other regarding the spiritual teaching.

An idea I had not too long ago about recording the self study and comprehending of the spiritual teaching is not only excellent for working to better understand the teachings, but is also quite good for discovering these lingering tendrils of religion that may be nestled deep into the forgotten recesses of the psyche.

Also of course, being able to express the teachings in your own words (which may only make sense to you, especially if in English) are steps to bringing about the realization and understanding the knowledge. To make it your own.

That may be true to you, but it isn’t to me, even if it is true in reality!

A HUGE distinction to be made here is the difference between having different beliefs, and simply understanding the the same factual knowledge differently.

Lets say we have 10

Johnny got to 10 by adding 3 to 7

Susie got to it by adding 5 and 5

Gertrude got 10 by multiplying 2 and 5

The different possibilities for reaching 10 are many, certainly more than I feel like typing out examples of.

The point is that there are many different ways to get to the same truth (in this case 10) in many different manners, some added equal parts, some added different numbers, some may have subtracted multiplied or divided. In this exact same manner some minds travel along different neural networks to connect different patterns of thought to bring about the same logical realizations.

Yet in this oxymornically politically correct world, if someone wants to believe 4+ü=$ then we are expected to respect that belief. Likewise if some strongly adhere to a belief constructs rife with logical fallacies, we’re not suppose to point them out least we be insensitive.

The Hard Truth Meets Tough Love

I bring this up out of Love because there are still many of us within this community with many lingering religious thoughts, ideas, and beliefs.

If you got to 4 by 2+2 because Billy said 2+2 = 4 and you are telling someone they are wrong in getting 4 by subtracting 1 from 5, because 5-1=4 isn’t written anywhere by Billy, then you are living and adhering to religious delusion. To view Billy Meier as an unquestionable omniscient being, and to take all of what he says and cling to it in all literalness as absolutely concrete without question, makes you hardly more than a religious fundamentalist.

Granted that, as most of us know by now, Billy writes the spiritual teaching most often to be taken word for word without room for interpretation; this is not exclusively how this man talks, acts and behaves throughout his daily life, and there are even bits of the spiritual teaching written here and there in the form of poetic metaphors, this is so we can think for ourselves and use common sense to deduce what is meant. There is an ever present duality in the life that is inescapable and necessary in understanding along the path of our evolution.

To deny and scorn me for this is to cast your stones upon me for my Blasphemies.

Have you not noticed how Billy himself doesn’t even seem to follow all of his own advice? How he recommends not doing drugs yet smoked cigarettes for decades? How we shouldn’t get too attached to and live with animals yet he traveled about India with a monkey on his shoulder?

How he states that the Human should take care of themselves first and foremost yet has allowed himself to nearly fall apart for the sake of finishing his books? This is all very important to notice and to think about.

His writings and the teachings themselves are not scripture nor doctrine to be adhered to down to the minutest of detail at all costs, but rather guidelines. They are guidelines, suggestions, and recommendations written in terms for the under-evolved masses to understand (which is why even religious terms have been used) so to as to guide the reader, so they hopefully do not run entirely perpendicular to common sense, in hopes that they can manage to find their own way to the truth with all its glorious details which cannot be portrayed in any human language.

The teachings; Billy Meier’s writings, are, by no means, meant to be weapons in an arsenal, cocked and loaded, ready to sling upon one another in pathetic attempts to “win” conversations or appear “more-evolved” than the other. They are meant to be pondered, comprehended, understood, elaborated upon, and yes even questioned at times.

Certainly, BEAM’s honesty and integrity have been proven countless times so it is more or less “safe” to take his word for it and use educated assumption in many circumstances, especially regarding the contact reports, as they provide much information unable to be otherwise proven in the state of our current technology, at this current time. Yet that does not mean that if you don’t understand an element of the spiritual teaching that you should ignore it or carry on under the pretense of understanding.

Hell no, go out there and make the mistakes and failures to bring about the corrections necessary to actually understand the knowledge. To then learn to apply it as wisdom.

If you are unable to put the knowledge in your own words so as to be able to give an inquiring child a general idea of your “supposed knowledge” then you have truly neither lived nor experienced such knowledge which certainly can’t be called your own as you haven’t taken the steps in actually understanding it. Idly learning the words by heart and reciting them like a parrot will get you nowhere in terms of evolution.
