The Book of Enoch Banned From the Bible Tells the True Story of Humanity
In its entirety, The Book of Enoch is made up of five books – The Book of Watchers, Book of Parables, The Astronomical Book, The Dream Visions, and The Epistles of Enoch – containing some 100 chapters. These chapters tell the story of the 7th patriarch in the Book of Genesis – Enoch, the father of Methuselah and grandfather of Noah, the same Noah in the biblical story of Noah’s Ark.
Yet, this was not the biblical story of Noah’s Ark. In fact, the Book of Enoch provides an entirely different recounting of the events leading up to the Great Flood of Noah’s time, that is, a completely different doctrinal history. It tells a story of the Watchers, explained in biblical terms to be fallen angels, sent to earth to watch over humans at some undefined and ancient point in time. Unfortunately, far from merely watching humans, these Watchers became infatuated by human women, and in short order, began to engage in depraved sexual acts with them. The Book of Enoch tells of the children born through this interbreeding between Watchers and humans, called the Nephilim.
These Nephilim were as described: “giants and savages that endangered and pillaged humanity,” or, said another way, “supernatural, man-eating giants.” Angered with what the Watchers had done, those described as gods chained them in a subterranean prison deep within the earth. Enoch became the go-between gods and imprisoned Watchers.

The book of Enoch is prophetic ! Which makes it hard to interpret. So when people come up with “off the wall” ideas of what it is saying I give the ideas a thumbs down not the book of Enoch!
Book of Enoch is not prophetic. This group of writings may contain some accurate historical data that enhances our understanding of the world before the flood but it is valuable only to that extent. There was nothing magical or supernatural about Enoch. God in His infinite wisdom and sovereign control over His creation chose Enoch and gave him a vision as recorded in the book of Jude in the New Testament. This visions most likely described to Enoch the judgement coming (from a spiritual perspective not necessarily physical—Enoch probably one judgement was coming when SOMETHING happened as a marker). We can deduce that most likely this target was the death of his son Methuselah. This can be somewhat confidently asserted for 2 reasons. First, his name means in Hebrew, “when he dies it comes” and secondly, when you piece together he Scriptures and add the ages of Noah to his father to his grandfather, Methuselah, and correspond this to Noah’s 600th year, the year of the flood everything adds up perfectly. And even a third argument is in the verse in Gen 7 that describes the start of the flood the phrase, “…on the same day…” tells us that 2 events occurred on this very day, one of them being the beginnings of the cataclysmic flood. The other event is not clearly noted but one may reasonably deduce that this was most likely Methusela’s death. His living longer than any other recorded human in the Bible is a real symbol of God’s grace to mankind and is a good description of His willingness to wait on man before acting. Too add anything to this narrative from abiblical sources can only be done when it doesn’t contradict the actual narrative. The Book of Enoch was written probably 1000’s of years later and though it may contain useful information passed down through the centuries, it is still a long way from its source and her core should be treated as such. In this article the author treats this book as being more factual or historically authoritative than the Bible and this is backwards according to all the rules of research, investigation and archeology.

Dude none of this is accurate at all. Enoch became the intermediary? The fallen angels who were put into the pit were able to continue to communicate with the outside world? Even through Enoch? Watchers were sent to watch over mankind? How about this: the angelic hierarchies were stationed from the beginning and displays of God’s glory and part of their duties was to govern over creation and issue God’s orders. 1/3 of them rebelled as they followed Lucifer in his failed atta or to usurp the Throne of the universe and they were cast down to the earth and its atmosphere (though Lucipher still had access to God’s throne because he still retained his rank). The fallen ones who were stationed in the dark kingdom as an imitation of God’s order decided to fall to the earth and mingle with him women and contaminate the dna thus ruining humanity.
